The digital agency selected its new location to accommodate the growth of both its local employee base and a national account portfolio. With its proximity to dining, hotels, and Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, the office suite enables meltmedia to easily service its clients in locations ranging from San Francisco to New York.
It's all about the Connection
The HQ for the largest steel manufacturing and erection company in the country presented a unique design opportunity. Design elements of heavy steel columns and I-beams where fabricated and installed by the Client throughout to divide spaces, and provide interest. Bolted connections are proudly on display as examples of their work. The concrete floors were left exposed and the ceilings removed. To add warmth and texture a reclaimed brick wall, sliding wood barn and pivot doors were added.

Floating warm wood, contrasted by glass, metal tile with sparks of color and lighting add interest and texture to this open collaborative space.
A low quartz and metal tile wall defines the space while affording visual privacy to the café and bench seating beyond. Strong angular ceilings support the design and playful pendant lights anchor the seating areas. Alphabet soup red wall covering was selected for the main space while all other walls were used to display the family heritage with vintage soup labels and family history photos.

Our objective was to design an office space in line with their newly acquired company standards, portray their company image through refined details, all while creating an inviting and comfortable workplace environment. Vincent Benjamin is a recruiting, staffing and consulting firm that focuses on placing accounting and technology professionals. Therefore, it was important to create a memorable first impression where the latest technology and workplace trends are seamlessly incorporated throughout the space.
Promoting collaboration, retention, and recruitment of highly talented people was the focus of Ipro’s newly designed office space. The design created a space that promotes and cultivates creativity and innovation. They changed their corporate culture to reflect an “open work environment” by moving offices to the interior and allowing for natural light to flood the office space. Ipro’s distinct signature colors are used throughout the space to guide users to points of interest, while solidifying the Ipro brand. Overall, the design concept reinforces Ipro Tech as the global leaders in development of advance software solutions.
The simple elegance of clean lines, sophistication, and complimentary contrasts of warm wood tones and crisp polished marble helped transform the image of this well-established law firm. Relocated to an iconic high-rise in Midtown Phoenix, you are welcomed by the surrounding breathtaking views. The monumental staircase of fierce metal and clear glass marries the main two floors. We’ve subtly incorporated their existing signature yellow and new corporate culture throughout the design using carefully chosen design features, materials and artwork. As you experience the space layers of texture, masculinity and elements of glimmer unfold.
The plaza contains rough board form concrete seat walls contrasted by rusted metal planters, painted steel and exposed aggregate block walls. The center canopy contains an enclosed warm colored roof and is flanked on either side by two open exposed metal structures to add interest and welcome visitors. The result is a pleasant play of light and shadows that change throughout the day. At night is when the plaza comes to life, a central backlit glass cube emits light in all directions in the center of three canopies and near the sound of a 40 foot reflecting fountain surrounded by trees and flowers.
Sophisticated Smoke – Clean lines and bright walls, contrasted by dark open ceilings and reflective wood floors create drama. The playful floating spiraling light fixture and cloud-filled artwork complement the space and add color. Your eye is drawn to the sixty foot long backlit LED wall connecting the reception area to spaces beyond and acting as the main circulation spline.
Energetic, Techy and Forward Thinking. Incorporating clean lines, bold colors, contrasted by barn wood accents creates this spirited, lively space with eye-popping appeal. Social hubs for collaboration and impromptu meetings are “sprinkled” throughout the space, promoting employee health and interaction. Natural light is harvested by locating gathering areas and workspaces near the glass allowing energy to flow throughout the space.
The seamless blend of cool greys, natural materials, and bold pops of color encourage employee interaction and forward thinking. The company provides member services and fraud protection, requiring a highly functional and secure work space.

A new business is sprouting at Verrado. Cool crisp whites paired with warm wood tones and sparkling chandeliers lead into a spa retreat. The modern fixtures mixed with the old world elements pay tribute to the past.
A trendy yet small town salon and barber shop. The concept of a family owned and operated salon fit right into the Verrado community.
FARBER SCHRECK LLP
A 15,000 square foot law firm, located on 24th floor of City Scape in downtown Phoenix. This law firm wanted to make their presence known within the Phoenix community. We provided a one-of-kind space they can showcase to clients and the city. The space featured a five foot cantilevered stone reception desk, beautiful cherry wood clad walls and custom conference room doors. The soothing atmosphere of the space was the perfect balance for this Denver based law firm breaking new ground in the Phoenix marketplace. The project was completed in September of 2011
An angled sweeping, beveled wood ceiling leads to the boardroom and views of Camelback beyond. Light colored sparkling quartz was used to add interest and contrast, wrapping the back painted glass at the reception desk, conference table and countertops. The multi-colored stacked stone adds texture and unifies the finishes into a modern yet timeless space.
Energetic, Functional and Forward Thinking. Incorporating clean lines, bold colors, contrasted by warm barn wood accents creates this spirited, lively space with eye-popping appeal. The extensive use of glass, circular ceiling forms and lighting accents adds visual interest and provides a glimpse into the 25 screen control center and high tech member services workspace.
Strong linear openings and the Spirit “blue” lead you into the space, to the boardroom and golf course views beyond. A warm neutral color palette contrasts the stone flooring and clean lines. Dynamic colored wallcovering and textured stone used in limited amounts give the space interest. The result is a tailored, sophisticated space, reflective of the Client’s corporate culture.
Balance of forms; simplicity of design and materials; soothing selection of spa like colors and finishes; childlike joy through the unexpected and use of lighting, were the basis for the design of the new corporate headquarters facility for philosophy: a manufacturer of high end skin care products.
Stripes of bold colors and patterns lead customers into a fresh and eclectic eatery that mimics The Herb Boxs sophisticated yet playful menu and endless energy. The layering of aged brick, elaborate traditional chandeliers and stained concrete floors are contrasted by the fun, bright, energetic colors and patterns to create a boutique feel that is unique but familiar.
Streamline Renaissance elements juxtaposed with innovative technology and sophisticated playfulness develops into an environment for social interaction. Courageous pops of ZooLoo Blue lead you through the space, from the glowing reception desk to the floating war room and onward to the pinstriped office to picnic inspired break room with artificial grass. The new corporate headquarters perfectly encapsulates the energetic, progressive culture of ZooLoo.
GRAZIE PIZZERIA & WINEBAR
Old World hospitality, stained concrete floors, open ceilings, and natural materials are blended with Italian influences to form this welcoming and friendly space. Brick walls, a concrete bar, and maple wood were used throughout, accented by red glass mosaic tiles, rustic iron work, custom wine coolers and the owners own artwork. An energetic Italian space with modern touches - Grazie.
Understated Opulence – Clean lines overlap subtle textures of luxurious materials. Shimmering glass tiles and creamy travertine layered over rich wood tones at a fireplace inside the main entry, suggesting a feeling of timeless affluence. An expansive wall sheathed in vein cut marble creates a dramatic backdrop for another seating group and connects the public space to the building lobby entry.
VIRGINIA PIPER CANCER CENTER
Curved walls of soothing hues intertwine with desert colored stone and water-like glass to create a smooth flow and calming feeling throughout the space. The materials found throughout reflect the subtle colors found in nature and throughout the southwest. The sweeping curves, subtle lighting, and relaxing colors merge to create a comforting treatment facility.
FIRST FIDELITY BANK
Old World Banking; rich woods, fluted columns, intricate crown molding and custom lighting complemented by warm neutral walls all contribute into transforming this once tired building into a stunning high-end personalized banking experience. The warm color palette and intricate woodwork flow throughout creating a handsome and cohesive space.
Small Jewel clean lines, exposed ceilings, simple natural materials and finishes are blended with Asian and Italian influences to form this unique and playful loft space. Exotic tachidamo wood was used throughout, accented by maple, stainless steel, cable lighting and artwork. A warm, worldly space with modern touches.
